Governess's Filigree Studs
Governess's Filigree Studs
An Elegance of the Mind
ERA: A Candlelit Library in a Gothic Novel
STYLE NOTES: Intelligent Sparkle, Humble Bronze, Intricate Details, Earned Elegance
PAIRS WELL WITH: A stack of leather-bound books, a sharp mind, and the quiet dignity of a self-made woman. These are not inherited jewels; they are earned emblems of an intellectual soul.
The Character Arc
At the "Midnight Soirée at the Château," not all nobility is inherited. This pair of vintage 1928 earrings belongs to her—the woman whose sharp intellect is her most dazzling jewel.
She may not be draped in large, colorful gems, but her quiet elegance commands respect. The design is a small, intricate world of Rococo-style filigree, cast in a humble, antiqued bronze-tone metal. But at its heart, a constellation of brilliant, clear crystal rhinestones sparkles with an undeniable fire. It is the light of a keen, curious mind.
This pair has been a trusted companion. The clips show the honest wear of a life of purpose. It is a testament to the idea that true worth comes not from birthright, but from the person you become. For the woman who reads books, holds her head high, and knows that her own light is more than enough.

Avoid Water & Chemicals :
Keep all pieces dry and away from water. This is vital for The Renaissance Edit's vintage brass, as it prevents oxidation. Also, avoid perfumes, hairspray, lotions, and harsh cleaning agents; they can dull stones and react with metals.
Proper Storage :
When not worn, store your treasures in a cool, dry place. Keep them out of direct sunlight, ideally in individual soft pouches or a lined jewelry box, to protect their brilliance.
Brass Care :
Vintage brass naturally develops a rich patina over time. For oxidation or spots on Renaissance Edit brass, a gentle polish with a soft cloth will easily restore its warm, golden luster. Embrace this as part of its living history!
