Gold-Plated Copper Alloy Sculptural Hand + Natural Opal (small heart-shaped form, translucent warm orange body with dense green, pink, and yellow fire flashing across the surface)

Natural opal contains water. Keep away from heat, harsh chemicals, and ultrasonic cleaners. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth.

A small raw opal in the clear shape of a heart — rounded shoulders, soft dip, pointed base. The body is translucent warm orange, and dense fire flashes across the surface in bright pulses of green, pink, and yellow. The first heart-shaped stone in the collection, and the brightest kind of heart: the kind that is clearly still beating. One-of-a-kind. October birthstone.

THE CHARACTER ARC:

A small beat, still going, cradled in a golden palm.

A heart on jewelry usually means something sentimental — a symbol, a shorthand, a shape borrowed to say “I love you” without having to say it. But a heart that still has a beat in it means something different. A beat is the proof that a heart is working. A beat is what separates the drawn heart on a Valentine’s card from the one in the chest, the one that keeps you alive, the one that quickens when you see something you love.

Her body is that same working heart. A heart-shaped opal in warm orange, translucent and full of light, with dense fire flashing across the surface in sharp bright pulses — green, pink, yellow — the way color might move through something that is actively alive. She is not a decorative heart. She is a heart that is still doing the work of being one.

She is for anyone whose heart has been working overtime lately — through grief, through joy, through the sheer effort of caring about things in a world that makes caring difficult. She is for the quiet pride of a heart that has not shut down. She is the beat in the palm — small, warm, orange, and still absolutely moving.

Avoid Water & Chemicals :

Keep all pieces dry and away from water. This is vital for The Renaissance Edit's vintage brass, as it prevents oxidation. Also, avoid perfumes, hairspray, lotions, and harsh cleaning agents; they can dull stones and react with metals.

Proper Storage :

When not worn, store your treasures in a cool, dry place. Keep them out of direct sunlight, ideally in individual soft pouches or a lined jewelry box, to protect their brilliance.

Brass Care :

Vintage brass naturally develops a rich patina over time. For oxidation or spots on Renaissance Edit brass, a gentle polish with a soft cloth will easily restore its warm, golden luster. Embrace this as part of its living history!
