THE SPIRIT:

Chip · Small Enough to Lose, So Held Carefully · Milky White, Soft-Lit from Within · A Chip of Something Larger · The Quiet One

DESCRIPTION:

Origin:
Handcrafted · Original Design

Size:
Pendant Length: 1.4 inches / Pendant Weight: 4g (Featherlight & Delicate) / Opal: 6 × 5 × 4 mm, 0.62ct

Materials:
Gold-Plated Copper Alloy Sculptural Hand + Natural Opal (very small smooth-edged chip-like form, milky white translucent body with soft gentle fire moving beneath the pale surface)

Natural opal contains water. Keep away from heat, harsh chemicals, and ultrasonic cleaners. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth.

A very small raw opal, milky white and smooth-edged — the kind of little chip you’d pick up on a walk and keep in your pocket for weeks. Soft fire moves beneath the pale surface, gentle rather than bright. The smallest stone in the collection, but the hand holds it like it matters, because it does. One-of-a-kind. October birthstone.

THE CHARACTER ARC:

A small chip of light, held carefully in a golden palm.

A chip is a word that admits something is small. A chip of ice, a chip of paint, a chip off the old block. It is a word that says: this used to be part of something larger, and now it is its own thing, and that is fine. A chip does not pretend to be a whole. A chip is honest about its size.

Her body is that same honest smallness. A tiny milky white form with soft edges, lit gently from within, the fire more suggestion than statement. She is the smallest stone in the collection — and the hand around her does not hold her any differently for that. If anything, the hand holds her more carefully, the way you would carry something easy to misplace.

She is for anyone who has felt small and still worth cradling. For the knowledge that a thing’s worth is not its weight. She is the small chip in the palm — pale, soft-lit, kept because she is small, not despite it.

Avoid Water & Chemicals :

Keep all pieces dry and away from water. This is vital for The Renaissance Edit's vintage brass, as it prevents oxidation. Also, avoid perfumes, hairspray, lotions, and harsh cleaning agents; they can dull stones and react with metals.

Proper Storage :

When not worn, store your treasures in a cool, dry place. Keep them out of direct sunlight, ideally in individual soft pouches or a lined jewelry box, to protect their brilliance.

Brass Care :

Vintage brass naturally develops a rich patina over time. For oxidation or spots on Renaissance Edit brass, a gentle polish with a soft cloth will easily restore its warm, golden luster. Embrace this as part of its living history!
