Clove
Clove
THE SPIRIT:
Clove · A Small Dark Spice · Warmth Kept in a Jar · Something Named Simply · Quiet Weight
DESCRIPTION:
Brand: The Character Arc
Origin: Handcrafted · Original Design
Size: Pendant Length: 1.4 inches / Pendant Weight: 4.5g (Featherlight & Delicate) / Opal: 9 × 6 × 9 mm, 2.42ct
Materials: Rhodium-Plated Copper Alloy Sculptural Hand + Natural Opal (irregular rounded form, semi-translucent milk-white base with vivid red fire)
Natural opal contains water. Keep away from heat, harsh chemicals, and ultrasonic cleaners. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth.
Irregular and softly rounded, a plump little weight held in the palm. The base is a milk-white body, lit from within, and across the surface vivid red fire flashes bright with the slightest movement — fast, electric, catching the light the way nothing in the series does quite the same way. Set in rhodium-plated silver-white to keep the whole piece cool against her warmth. One-of-a-kind. October birthstone.
THE CHARACTER ARC:
Named for a small dark spice. No further explanation.
Some things don’t need to be about anything. A clove is a clove. You open the jar, you smell the warmth that was waiting in there, you close the jar again. The word is short and old and carries its own weight without having to say what it means.
She is named the way a thing is named when the name is enough on its own. Not a metaphor. Not a story about what she stands for. Just a sound that fits her — short, clean, a little bit warm around the edges — and the rest she holds for herself.
She is for anyone who doesn’t need their jewelry to explain itself. For the small quiet pieces that are the thing, not a sign of the thing. For the pleasure of a short word that lands.
Avoid Water & Chemicals :
Keep all pieces dry and away from water. This is vital for The Renaissance Edit's vintage brass, as it prevents oxidation. Also, avoid perfumes, hairspray, lotions, and harsh cleaning agents; they can dull stones and react with metals.
Proper Storage :
When not worn, store your treasures in a cool, dry place. Keep them out of direct sunlight, ideally in individual soft pouches or a lined jewelry box, to protect their brilliance.
Brass Care :
Vintage brass naturally develops a rich patina over time. For oxidation or spots on Renaissance Edit brass, a gentle polish with a soft cloth will easily restore its warm, golden luster. Embrace this as part of its living history!
