Natural opal contains water. Keep away from heat, harsh chemicals, and ultrasonic cleaners. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth.
A full, rounded body, softly shaped, with the whole of a morning sky held inside it. The upper half reads cool blue — the color of the air just before the sun has fully committed to the day. The lower half glows warm orange — the color the sun pushes up from the horizon in its first hour. Where the two colors meet, dense fire moves across the stone in bright patches of green, pink, and gold, like the light that only exists at that exact in-between hour. One-of-a-kind. October birthstone.
THE CHARACTER ARC:
The hour when the sky is two colors at once.
Dawn is not really a time. It is a crossing. For about forty minutes each morning, before anyone has decided what the day will be, the sky holds two colors at once — cool blue falling away above, warm orange rising from the ground, meeting in a line that keeps moving the whole time you watch. Nothing is settled yet. Everything is still possible.
Her body is that line, caught in stone. Cool blue at the top, warm orange at the base, dense fire moving through the border where they meet. She does not pick a side. She holds both — the night that just ended and the day that has not quite begun — and makes something new out of the overlap.
She is for anyone standing at a beginning. For the ones who are still becoming. For the hour before the day has told you what it is going to be.
Avoid Water & Chemicals :
Keep all pieces dry and away from water. This is vital for The Renaissance Edit's vintage brass, as it prevents oxidation. Also, avoid perfumes, hairspray, lotions, and harsh cleaning agents; they can dull stones and react with metals.
Proper Storage :
When not worn, store your treasures in a cool, dry place. Keep them out of direct sunlight, ideally in individual soft pouches or a lined jewelry box, to protect their brilliance.
Brass Care :
Vintage brass naturally develops a rich patina over time. For oxidation or spots on Renaissance Edit brass, a gentle polish with a soft cloth will easily restore its warm, golden luster. Embrace this as part of its living history!
