Handcrafted · Original Design

Size:
Pendant Length: 1.4 inches / Pendant Weight: 4.3g (Featherlight & Delicate) / Opal: 5 × 4 × 12 mm, 1.88ct

Materials:
Gold-Plated Copper Alloy Sculptural Hand + Natural Opal (long form with rough torn-sourdough silhouette, translucent body with pink and green fire moving brightly through the surface)

Natural opal contains water. Keep away from heat, harsh chemicals, and ultrasonic cleaners. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth.

A long raw opal shaped like a small sourdough loaf torn open down the middle — rough edges, soft translucent body, the kind of surface that looks baked rather than cut. Pink and green fire moves through the stone, flashing bright as you turn it, like light caught inside something warm and freshly broken. One-of-a-kind. October birthstone.

THE CHARACTER ARC:

A small loaf, torn open soft, cradled in a golden palm.

A loaf of bread is the oldest hand-held comfort there is. Before books, before jewelry, before most other objects we carry, there was bread — a thing you broke open with your hands and shared, the heat of it still rising, the inside softer than the crust. A loaf is a thing designed to be held, torn, and offered.

Her body is that same just-torn warmth. A long form with rough irregular edges, like a sourdough pulled apart rather than sliced, with pink and green fire running through the translucent body — the soft inside of a thing that has just been opened. The crust is irregular. The light inside is golden. The whole stone looks like it should still be warm.

She is for anyone who loves the small daily acts of making and sharing — the kneading, the rising, the breaking open together. For the warmth of a thing offered freshly. She is the small loaf in the palm, torn soft, lit from inside with the colors of a kitchen in the morning.

Avoid Water & Chemicals :

Keep all pieces dry and away from water. This is vital for The Renaissance Edit's vintage brass, as it prevents oxidation. Also, avoid perfumes, hairspray, lotions, and harsh cleaning agents; they can dull stones and react with metals.

Proper Storage :

When not worn, store your treasures in a cool, dry place. Keep them out of direct sunlight, ideally in individual soft pouches or a lined jewelry box, to protect their brilliance.

Brass Care :

Vintage brass naturally develops a rich patina over time. For oxidation or spots on Renaissance Edit brass, a gentle polish with a soft cloth will easily restore its warm, golden luster. Embrace this as part of its living history!
