Mimosa
Mimosa
THE SPIRIT:
A small stone the color of a glass of mimosa · warm orange settling at one end, soft white and translucent fire at the other · a quiet layered form held in an open palm · the shade of a Sunday morning · the gentlest kind of celebration
DESCRIPTION:
Brand: The Character Arc
Origin: Handcrafted · Original Design
Size: Pendant Length: 1.4 inches / Pendant Weight: 4.1g (Featherlight & Delicate) / Opal: 10 × 5 × 3 mm, 1.5ct
Materials: Gold-Plated Copper Alloy Sculptural Hand + Natural Opal (a long, gently rounded form with a layered color field; vivid warm orange at one end softening into milky translucence, with green, pink, and gold fire moving across the surface)
A note on the stone: Natural opal holds a small amount of water inside its structure. Keep it away from extreme heat, chemicals, and long sun exposure. Wipe gently with a soft cloth. Treated with care, it will hold its fire for a lifetime.
The stone is long and gently rounded, with a quiet layering of color that moves from one end to the other. On one side, a saturated warm orange — the shade of fresh citrus sinking through a glass. On the other, a soft milky translucence lit by green, pink, and gold fire, as if champagne had just been poured over it. The two colors don't blend evenly. They meet in the middle and hold their own, the way the orange juice and the sparkling wine of a mimosa settle beside each other in a flute. The gold hand holds it fully, cradling the small layered body like a glass held at the stem.
THE CHARACTER ARC:
A mimosa is two things at once — a quiet Sunday cocktail, and a small golden flower that blooms despite its own shyness.
The drink is a ritual: orange juice and champagne, poured slowly, served without ceremony, usually in the company of someone you love. It is not a cocktail for drama. It is a cocktail for small, bright mornings — brunch tables, bridal showers, the hour when a long week finally softens into rest. The flower, by the same name, blooms in small golden puffs on slender branches, closing shyly when touched, opening again when left alone.
This stone carries both. Orange on one side, like the juice. Milky light on the other, like the wine. And across the whole body, soft golden fire moving the way sunlight moves through a kitchen window on a slow Sunday morning. Nothing about it is urgent. Everything about it is a small, deliberate celebration.
She is not waiting for a reason to raise a glass. She has decided that being here, this morning, is reason enough.
Avoid Water & Chemicals :
Keep all pieces dry and away from water. This is vital for The Renaissance Edit's vintage brass, as it prevents oxidation. Also, avoid perfumes, hairspray, lotions, and harsh cleaning agents; they can dull stones and react with metals.
Proper Storage :
When not worn, store your treasures in a cool, dry place. Keep them out of direct sunlight, ideally in individual soft pouches or a lined jewelry box, to protect their brilliance.
Brass Care :
Vintage brass naturally develops a rich patina over time. For oxidation or spots on Renaissance Edit brass, a gentle polish with a soft cloth will easily restore its warm, golden luster. Embrace this as part of its living history!
