THE CHARACTER ARC:
Named for a moth. For no particular reason.
A moth is a small soft thing with no agenda. It belongs to the evening. It is drawn to light the way all of us are drawn to light — without quite being able to explain it. It is not showy. It is not dramatic. It simply shows up, folds itself quietly against the lamp, and lets the warm thing warm it for a while.
She is named for a moth because the name sounded right. Not because she is shaped like one. Not because her fire resembles its wings. Just because the word is short and soft and carries a little of the hush of evenings in it, and she wanted that for her name.
She is for anyone who likes a name without a reason. For the small quiet pieces that don’t need to be about anything. For the pleasure of a word that is simply, warmly, enough.
Avoid Water & Chemicals :
Keep all pieces dry and away from water. This is vital for The Renaissance Edit's vintage brass, as it prevents oxidation. Also, avoid perfumes, hairspray, lotions, and harsh cleaning agents; they can dull stones and react with metals.
Proper Storage :
When not worn, store your treasures in a cool, dry place. Keep them out of direct sunlight, ideally in individual soft pouches or a lined jewelry box, to protect their brilliance.
Brass Care :
Vintage brass naturally develops a rich patina over time. For oxidation or spots on Renaissance Edit brass, a gentle polish with a soft cloth will easily restore its warm, golden luster. Embrace this as part of its living history!
