A small stone the color of a glass of mimosa · warm orange settling at one end, soft white and translucent fire at the other · a quiet layered form held in an open palm · the shade of a Sunday morning · the gentlest kind of celebration

Natural opal contains water. Keep away from heat, harsh chemicals, and ultrasonic cleaners. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth.
Slim and seed-shaped, with the quiet geometry of something you'd find at the bottom of a fruit and almost throw away before you noticed it was pretty. The body is clearly transparent — you can almost see through her — with a cool violet cast that holds the whole stone. Blue fire moves across the surface in bright patches, with small flashes of green and gold at the edges. One of the smallest opals in the series. One-of-a-kind. October birthstone.
THE CHARACTER ARC:
The smallest thing worth carrying in your pocket.
A pip is the seed you find at the bottom of an apple, the small hard thing inside the orange slice. Most people spit it out. Some people keep it. A pip is proof that something sweet was here, and proof that something could still grow.
She is that small. She is also that complete. Nothing about her is unfinished — she is just a different scale of whole. A violet body no bigger than a sunflower seed, with blue light moving quietly inside it, like weather happening in miniature.
You keep a pip because small things are easy to lose, and because the small things are often the ones that remember you back.
Avoid Water & Chemicals :
Keep all pieces dry and away from water. This is vital for The Renaissance Edit's vintage brass, as it prevents oxidation. Also, avoid perfumes, hairspray, lotions, and harsh cleaning agents; they can dull stones and react with metals.
Proper Storage :
When not worn, store your treasures in a cool, dry place. Keep them out of direct sunlight, ideally in individual soft pouches or a lined jewelry box, to protect their brilliance.
Brass Care :
Vintage brass naturally develops a rich patina over time. For oxidation or spots on Renaissance Edit brass, a gentle polish with a soft cloth will easily restore its warm, golden luster. Embrace this as part of its living history!
