A golden hand holds what is left. This opal is the quietest in the collection — milky-white, almost opaque, with a surface that looks less polished than weathered, as though whatever shaped it was not a tool but time. The fire is there, but it does not shout. It arrives in slow, pale washes of green-blue that move across the surface like light through fog, appearing only when the angle is right, vanishing the moment you try to look directly. Underneath the white, a faint warmth glows at the base — not orange, not gold, just the memory of warmth, the way old stone holds the sun hours after sunset. The form is irregular and flat, thin at the edges, slightly concave in the center — the shape of something that was once part of a larger body and has been separated from it long enough to forget what it used to be.
