Pendant Length: 1.4 inches / Pendant Weight: 4.2g (Featherlight & Delicate) / Opal: 7 × 3 × 9 mm, 1.45ct

Gold-Plated Copper Alloy Sculptural Hand + Natural Opal (smooth rounded river-pebble form with a small hollow at the center, deep saturated teal translucent body with fire shifting beneath the surface)

Natural opal contains water. Keep away from heat, harsh chemicals, and ultrasonic cleaners. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth.

A smooth rounded raw opal, river-pebble shape with a small dip in the center — the kind of hollow that would hold a palmful of water if you tilted it right. The base is a deep saturated teal, blue-green and translucent, with fire shifting beneath the surface as you move it. Something cool to the eye on a warm day. One-of-a-kind. October birthstone.

THE CHARACTER ARC:

A pool of blue-green, held in a golden palm.

Teal is the color water becomes when it has had time to think. Not the bright blue of a swimming pool or the gray of a winter sea — teal is the color of a shallow bay in late afternoon, of a river running over moss-covered stones, of water that has absorbed enough of the green around it to become something else. A color that is calm by composition.

Her body carries that same slow blue-green. A smooth rounded form worn soft the way a river stone wears soft, with a small hollow at the center — the exact shape that would catch a palmful of rain. Fire moves beneath the surface, deep and shifting, so the stone always looks like it has weather inside it.

She is for anyone who finds themselves cooled by the sight of water, who keeps a small shell or stone on a windowsill for reasons they cannot quite explain. She is the pool in the palm — teal, worn smooth, with a small hollow waiting for whatever will fill it next.

Avoid Water & Chemicals :

Keep all pieces dry and away from water. This is vital for The Renaissance Edit's vintage brass, as it prevents oxidation. Also, avoid perfumes, hairspray, lotions, and harsh cleaning agents; they can dull stones and react with metals.

Proper Storage :

When not worn, store your treasures in a cool, dry place. Keep them out of direct sunlight, ideally in individual soft pouches or a lined jewelry box, to protect their brilliance.

Brass Care :

Vintage brass naturally develops a rich patina over time. For oxidation or spots on Renaissance Edit brass, a gentle polish with a soft cloth will easily restore its warm, golden luster. Embrace this as part of its living history!
