A brass Cupid draws his bow across a teardrop of natural labradorite that flashes like a storm seen from inside a cathedral. The stone is enormous by charm standards — a full 1.84 inches of polished surface that shifts between slate grey, deep teal, electric blue, and sudden veins of gold-green depending on how the light arrives. One moment the stone is dark and quiet. The next it ignites from within, as though someone struck a match behind the surface and the whole thing caught. The Cupid is sculpted in the full Renaissance putti tradition: round-cheeked, bare-limbed, draped in a loose cloth across his middle, his small body suspended horizontally in the act of aiming — bow drawn, arrow nocked, eyes fixed on a target you can't see. He takes up most of the stone's surface, which is deliberate. This isn't a subtle piece.
