A brass sunflower opens at the center of a tiger eye heart — and the pairing is so natural it looks like the stone grew the flower itself. Tiger eye is the stone that moves: bands of gold and deep brown shift beneath the polished surface with every angle, the optical effect called chatoyancy — a word borrowed from the French for cat's eye, that liquid shimmer of light sliding across silk.
