A brass peace symbol sits inside the body of an opalite heart — not pressed on top of the stone, but embedded within it, as though the symbol grew there. The opalite glows around it the way light glows around a window: milky blue at the top, shifting to warm peach at the base, translucent enough that the brass lines of the peace sign appear to float inside the glass rather than rest against it. The effect is stained glass in miniature — a church window the size of a thumbnail, carrying one of the most recognized symbols in human history inside a shape that needs no translation. The peace sign's lines are clean and open-cut, letting the opalite's shifting glow pass through the spaces between each segment. Tilt the pendant and the color moves. The symbol stays still.
