This pendant sets a brass horse in profile against a polished heart of blue sandstone — a stone that looks like a piece of the night sky pressed flat and kept. Under ordinary light it reads as deep navy, almost black. But tilt it, and the copper particles suspended inside the glass-like surface ignite into a field of tiny scattered stars, as though someone bottled a handful of dark and shook it until it glittered. The horse is modeled in the classic equestrian tradition: muzzle slightly lifted, mane sculpted close, jaw defined — not a horse in motion, but a horse deciding whether to run.
