A fat brass money pouch sits on a slab of pink jade the color of sand at sunset — tied at the neck with a sculpted cord, bulging at the sides, stamped with a dollar sign that is neither apologetic nor subtle. The pouch is modeled in the old illustrative style: the kind you see in pirate maps and merchant engravings, where money was physical and heavy and had to be carried by hand. It is unapologetically full.
