Detailed Description:

This bracelet strings natural garnet tumbled into irregular chip form — no two beads the same shape, no two the same red. Held to the light, the chips shift from deep pomegranate to burgundy-black; held against the pulse, they warm quickly and take on a lower, richer note, like wine that has just been decanted. Between them, at the front of the wrist, sits a small sterling silver cat: three-dimensional, no more than a fingernail wide, its face sculpted with the barely-there smile cats do when they've decided to trust you. At 9 grams the bracelet has a distinct, grounding weight — enough to feel present on the wrist through a whole day, not so much that it announces itself. The chips shift and settle with every movement, giving off the softest click of stone-on-stone.
