THE SPIRIT:

Mint Devotion · Angelic Mischief · Pastel Relic · Sunlit Innocence · Rococo Sweetness

DESCRIPTION:

Brand: The Character Arc · The Renaissance Edit

Origin: Reconstructed from Vintage Components

Size: Length: 1.11 inches (Heart Shape, including bail) | Weight: 3.5g (Featherlight & Delicate)

Materials: Green Art Glass (Puffed Heart, Opaque Mint Green with High-Gloss Finish), Vintage Brass Winged Cherub Appliqué, Freshwater Pearl Bail Accent, Gold-Plated Setting

Condition: REIMAGINED VINTAGE

A puffed heart of opaque mint glass — not flat like a cabochon but rounded, dimensional, plump as a macaron — carries a small winged cherub at its crown. The cherub is pure Renaissance: chubby-cheeked, curly-haired, wings outstretched in symmetrical display, expression caught between drowsy and amused, the way Raphael's putti always look as though they know something you do not. The glass beneath is a mint green so clean it almost glows — the color of pistachio ice cream, of jade held up to spring light, of the inside of a seashell from a warmer sea. A single freshwater pearl sits at the bail, adding a final note of softness to an already gentle piece. At 3.5g and barely over an inch, it is one of the lightest and most compact pendants in the collection — a small, bright, unapologetically pretty object.

THE CHARACTER ARC:

Permission to Be Delightful

There is a particular kind of beauty that does not ask to be taken seriously. It does not reference mythology or carry the weight of symbolism or demand that you understand its history before you can love it. It simply arrives — green, golden, smiling — and asks only to be worn by someone who is not afraid of joy.

The cherub is the oldest messenger of that permission. In Renaissance painting, putti appeared not to deliver warnings or prophecies but to remind the viewer that the sacred and the playful are not opposites. They lounged on clouds. They held garlands. They looked directly at the viewer with expressions that said: you are allowed to enjoy this. They were placed in the most serious paintings — crucifixions, annunciations, depositions — precisely because even the heaviest moments needed a small golden face to say: lightness still exists.

This pendant is that face. The mint green glass has none of the somber depth of agate or amethyst — it is deliberately bright, deliberately sweet, the color of a season that has decided to begin. Wear it on the days when you need reminding that not everything you carry has to be heavy. That vintage can also mean cheerful. That a heart can be soft and still be strong. That sometimes the bravest thing a woman can do is let herself be — simply, unapologetically — delightful.

Avoid Water & Chemicals :

Keep all pieces dry and away from water. This is vital for The Renaissance Edit's vintage brass, as it prevents oxidation. Also, avoid perfumes, hairspray, lotions, and harsh cleaning agents; they can dull stones and react with metals.

Proper Storage :

When not worn, store your treasures in a cool, dry place. Keep them out of direct sunlight, ideally in individual soft pouches or a lined jewelry box, to protect their brilliance.

Brass Care :

Vintage brass naturally develops a rich patina over time. For oxidation or spots on Renaissance Edit brass, a gentle polish with a soft cloth will easily restore its warm, golden luster. Embrace this as part of its living history!
