A brass Cupid kneels inside a heart of opalite glass, bow drawn, arrow nocked, one wing pressed flat against the glowing surface behind him. He is not flying — he is standing his ground, feet planted, body turned sideways in the classic archer's stance, aiming at something beyond the frame of the pendant. The opalite behind him glows like the air inside a snow globe that someone filled with light instead of water: milky blue across the surface, warming to peach and pale gold near the edges, shifting with every tilt of the wrist. The Cupid is sculpted in full Renaissance relief — curled hair, bare limbs, a draped cloth across his waist, wings detailed down to individual feathers. He takes up most of the heart's surface, which makes the piece feel less like jewelry and more like a small framed scene: a love god, suspended inside a glowing heart, permanently mid-aim.
