Condition: REIMAGINED VINTAGE

Most lockets hold their secrets behind a solid face. This one is built differently — the brass casing is entirely open lattice, a round framework of interlocking petal-shaped cutouts that lets the air through, and the light, and the eye. At its center, a small liuli glass cabochon in translucent moss green catches whatever light is nearest and holds it in a way that glass does and stone cannot: alive, slightly luminous, with a depth that shifts as you tilt it. The glass itself carries natural internal variation — patches of deeper green, lighter passages, the visual texture of sunlight moving through shallow water over moss. At the bail, a small freshwater pearl sits in a gold prong setting, a quiet counterpoint to the green below. At 2.7g it is almost weightless — a locket you will feel less than you will see.

THE CHARACTER ARC:

For the One Who Still Believes in Small Wonders

There is a particular green that belongs to late spring — the green of new leaves against afternoon light, of water over river stone, of the moment a garden becomes itself again after winter has finished with it. It is not a dramatic color. It does not make demands. It simply reminds you, quietly and repeatedly, that renewal is structural — built into the nature of things — and that you are part of the same system.

Liuli glass carries color the way nothing else does. It is molten, then shaped, then slowly cooled, the internal movement of the material freezing mid-gesture into something that reads as alive. Each piece finishes differently. The green cabochon in this locket formed the way it formed, captured the light it captured, and arrived at this particular depth of color by its own private process. It is not a gemstone. It is something that decided to be beautiful on its own terms.

The filigree frame around it is a locket that breathes. It opens — though what you carry inside a lattice locket is already half-visible, which means the keeping is different here. More like a garden than a vault. More like a memory held lightly than a secret locked away. This one is for the woman who knows that the most beautiful things are rarely the most heavily guarded. She keeps her treasures in the open, trusting that only the right people will ever really see them.

Avoid Water & Chemicals :

Keep all pieces dry and away from water. This is vital for The Renaissance Edit's vintage brass, as it prevents oxidation. Also, avoid perfumes, hairspray, lotions, and harsh cleaning agents; they can dull stones and react with metals.

Proper Storage :

When not worn, store your treasures in a cool, dry place. Keep them out of direct sunlight, ideally in individual soft pouches or a lined jewelry box, to protect their brilliance.

Brass Care :

Vintage brass naturally develops a rich patina over time. For oxidation or spots on Renaissance Edit brass, a gentle polish with a soft cloth will easily restore its warm, golden luster. Embrace this as part of its living history!
