A small brass cat sits in three-quarter profile on a pale oblong of rose quartz — back slightly turned, tail curled around its haunches, head tilted just enough to suggest it has heard something but has not yet decided whether it is worth investigating. The fur is rendered in fine striated lines across the body, and the ears are sharply pointed, alert despite the otherwise relaxed posture.
