Irregular in form, with soft rounded curves and no sharp edges — the shape of a splash caught in glass. The body is a cool, half-translucent lemon-yellow, lit from within the way tonic water glows when you hold it up to the light. Across the surface, small flashes of green, pink, and orange fire move like bubbles rising through the glass. One-of-a-kind. October birthstone.
THE CHARACTER ARC:
A glass of something cold, held up to the window.
Tonic is the drink that wakes you up. Not with sugar, not with warmth — with cold, with bitterness, with the small shock of carbonation against your teeth. You pour it over ice, you watch the bubbles rise, you take the first sip and your whole afternoon rearranges itself around how awake you suddenly are.
Her body is that first sip. A cool lemon-yellow, lit from behind, with small bright flashes rising through the surface the way bubbles rise through a glass. Not warm. Not sweet. Not asking to be your comfort. She is the brightness that cuts through the fog, the cold clear thing that makes the rest of the day sharpen into focus.
She is for anyone who knows that softness is not the only kind of care. That sometimes the kindest thing is the clear-eyed one — the honest sip, the small bitter edge, the drink that does not pretend to be anything other than what it is.
Avoid Water & Chemicals :
Keep all pieces dry and away from water. This is vital for The Renaissance Edit's vintage brass, as it prevents oxidation. Also, avoid perfumes, hairspray, lotions, and harsh cleaning agents; they can dull stones and react with metals.
Proper Storage :
When not worn, store your treasures in a cool, dry place. Keep them out of direct sunlight, ideally in individual soft pouches or a lined jewelry box, to protect their brilliance.
Brass Care :
Vintage brass naturally develops a rich patina over time. For oxidation or spots on Renaissance Edit brass, a gentle polish with a soft cloth will easily restore its warm, golden luster. Embrace this as part of its living history!
