Natural opal contains water. Keep away from heat, harsh chemicals, and ultrasonic cleaners. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth.
A translucent raw opal shaped almost exactly like a small drifting ghost — narrow pointed crown above a soft rounded body. Hold it to light and the whole stone comes alive with blue and green fire bursting across the surface, flashes of color that shift as you move. One-of-a-kind. October birthstone.
THE CHARACTER ARC:
A small ghost, half-here and half-elsewhere, cradled in a golden palm.
A wisp is a shape that cannot quite be held. A wisp of smoke, a wisp of hair, a wisp of will-o’-the-wisp dancing over the marsh at dusk — these are things we recognize by their refusal to stay. They are what light looks like when it decides to drift instead of land.
Her body is that same refusal. A narrow crown rising above a soft rounded base, translucent from every angle, with blue and green fire moving beneath the surface like something swimming just below the skin of water. She looks less like a stone than like a small apparition that has agreed, briefly, to be held.
She is for anyone who feels most themselves at the edges — the hour between day and night, the moment between sleeping and waking, the small quiet ghost of who they used to be and who they are becoming. She is the small apparition in the palm, the one that will not stay but has, for now, decided to.
Avoid Water & Chemicals :
Keep all pieces dry and away from water. This is vital for The Renaissance Edit's vintage brass, as it prevents oxidation. Also, avoid perfumes, hairspray, lotions, and harsh cleaning agents; they can dull stones and react with metals.
Proper Storage :
When not worn, store your treasures in a cool, dry place. Keep them out of direct sunlight, ideally in individual soft pouches or a lined jewelry box, to protect their brilliance.
Brass Care :
Vintage brass naturally develops a rich patina over time. For oxidation or spots on Renaissance Edit brass, a gentle polish with a soft cloth will easily restore its warm, golden luster. Embrace this as part of its living history!
